Balloon Tract
The Balloon Tract (or "Balloon Track", in local parlance) is a derelict railroad yard on the edge of Old Town, in Eureka, CA. While the overall view is not a pretty one, the micro-images of corrosion, graffiti and weeds fascinate me. Sometimes surreal, and often abstract, these images contain an offbeat beauty, which I hope to have captured in this series. The following are a sampling of the 70+ images in this portfolio. |
